Governors at the Cathedral School worked with a new headteacher to reshape the leadership team and to update the school’s vision.

A new headteacher was employed when the school merged with three local schools. Their main aim was to ensure consistency in all of the schools and spend their time fairly at each school .

When Ysgol Y Deri was formed from the amalgamation of three special schools, the new leadership team ensured that staff and pupils were brought together with a shared vision and sense of ownership.
