Early insights from the Chief Inspector’s Annual Report 2022-2023

Ahead of Our Annual Report 2022-23 we have published early insights. These summaries outline the main messages we give providers, policy makers and the wider public an early insight into the fuller annual report, which is published in the new year.

For each sector we note what’s working well and what needs to improve, and we provide an overview of the most common recommendations that we have left with providers following their inspections.

In addition, you can access a concise set of reflective questions aimed at helping providers consider the best way of making progress against one of the areas for improvement identified in each sector.
