Inspection outcomes of education providers in Wales inspected during the 2019-2020 academic year.

2020-2021

We publish summaries of our inspection outcomes via an official statistics release every September. This series will be paused for 2021-2022.

Our inspections were paused in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

During 2020-2021, we have been making engagement phone calls to a broad sample of non-maintained nursery settings, primary, secondary, all age and special schools, and PRUs.

We have published a number of reports on our findings.

The Annual Report of Her Majesty’s Chief Inspector of Education and Training, which will be published later this year will provide a further analysis of our findings.
